New equipment in the department of the Orphan Center of the table children’s cheer center “Okhmadit”

In early 2024, we learned about news for people and patients suffering from cystic fibrosis. The unique Simeox medical device, designed to alleviate the condition of children with cystic fibrosis and other lung diseases, recently transferred to the Department of the Orphan Capital Children’s Infectious Disease Center “Okhmadit”.

The initiator of this step was the NGO “All-Ukrainian Association of Cystic Fibrosis Support”, and also with the support of Hyges Goche (founder-president of AMK of the French Cystic Fibrosis and Physiotherapy Association) and Nathalie Gonchar, a medical doctor at the YugContrakt Direct Company. She is also an advanced representative of the French company Physio-Assist.

At the beginning, the doctor also provided portable spirographs, rostometers, applications and optional reagents for the diagnosis of the “D” virus for the orphan examination of Okhmadit, which allows to create modulatory therapy in many countries of Kyiv, and the Zhytomyr region.

It is noteworthy that factories with European partners fight cystic fibrosis and take an active part in treatment, which is especially important in the conditions of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

It is worth reminding that in just 15 years, the Ohmadit Center for Orphan Research and Gene Therapy can help all children. So, at the beginning of March 2024, the European partner plants cleared the plot of land for the opening of the new Center. In addition, here the renovated premises, well-equipped facilities, as well as the work of medical personnel in comfortable rooms allow you to quickly orientate yourself to the fast treatment of Ukrainian children from these diseases.
