Officially approved: Zaporizhia Regional Hospital became a Reference Orphan Center

We are pleased to announce that today another Reference Orphan Center in Ukraine was officially approved – KNP “Zaporizhzhya Regional Clinical Hospital”! ⠀

The Center received recognition in three areas:
1. Cystic fibrosis (CF).
2. Autoimmune diseases (JURA).
3. Pituitary dwarfism. ⠀

In extremely difficult conditions of war, doctors not only survive – they develop, train, participate in national and international projects, save lives, diagnose, treat, support. ⠀

A special pride is the multidisciplinary team, which includes psychologists who help patients and their families maintain psychological stability, overcome fear, loss, PTSD and anxiety.
